Ratings
DUPR at Match Point.
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the global rating system for pickleball. Every player gets a rating, usually between 2.000 and 8.000, calculated from the scores of their recorded matches — not just wins and losses.
How to get a DUPR rating
- Download the DUPR app or sign up free at dupr.com.
- Your profile shows your DUPR ID and your singles and doubles ratings.
- New players may not have a rating yet — that's fine for open categories.
How Match Point uses DUPR
- Match Point tournaments marked "DUPR-rated" submit every match result to DUPR, so your games count towards your rating. You'll need your DUPR ID to register.
- Some categories have a rating limit (for example "4.2 and below") so that matches stay competitive.
- When a category has a limit, you'll be asked for your rating when you register, and entries outside the limit are not accepted.
- Organisers may check the rating you enter against your DUPR profile.
